Sex and the City is coming back for a reboot, but without Kim Cattrall
A reboot of Sex and the City has been rumoured for HBO Max including all of the original cast, except Kim Cattrall who plays Samantha Jones. In a recent interview with the Women’s Prize For Fiction podcast, she said, “I wouldn’t be any good doing something that I really didn’t want to do.”
While she didn’t mention it in the interview, Cattrall had a famous feud with co-star Sarah Jessica Parker that many fans think is to blame. It has not yet been confirmed whether Samantha will be written out of the script or replaced with a different actress.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Maisie Smith and Hrvy shared a drunken kiss
The two Strictly Come Dancing finalists, Maisie Smith and Hrvy, had a drunken kiss at the after-party of Saturday’s final. An insider source said: “Maisie and Hrvy has been brewing for weeks. The pair are so flirty together… But they were always really disciplined about not crossing any lines whilst the show was filming.”
BBC bosses warn against romances on the show, but Maisie and Hrvy have still been leaving flirty comments on each other’s Instagram posts. The pair were previously criticised for appearing to break social distancing rules after leaving the Strictly studios.
Stella Tennant, model and Vogue cover star, died aged 50
Stella Tennant’s family have confirmed that she has died aged 50. The cause of death has not yet been publicly confirmed. Many famous colleagues and friends have posted their condolences on social media.
Tennant has fronted magazines including British, French and Italian Vogue, and Harper’s Bizarre. She has worked for huge fashion brands such as Versace, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein and Chanel. She was also a representative of the British fashion industry at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.
TOWIE’s Mark Wright will star in a BBC documentary show
Mark Wright has recently signed for League Two football team, Crawley Town. It has now been announced that a BBC iPlayer mini-series will follow his journey becoming a professional footballer. The series will be called Mark Wright: The Last Chance and premiers in 2021.
He made his debut for Crawley Town last week in a match against Leyton Orient. The 33-year-old’s wife, Michelle Keegan, took to Instagram to speak about her pride for her husband’s new career move.
Simon Cowell seen on a jet ski in Barbados four months after breaking his back
Simon Cowell was spotted on a jet ski in Barbados smoking a cigarette after a remarkable four-month recovery from breaking his back. The 61-year-old music titan was hospitalised after falling off his electric bike in August.
He is reportedly enduring an intense fitness regime to speed up his recovery. His ex-girlfriend Sinitta said he was walking around five miles a day as well as having physiotherapy and doing exercises in a swimming pool. Cowell, his partner Lauren Silverman and his son Eric take a Christmas holiday in Barbados every year.
