The organisers of Glastonbury Festival took to Twitter this week to confirm the cancellation of the 2021 event. Organisers Michael and Emily Eavis tweeted: “With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us. Tickets will roll over to next year.”
The official statement said that organisers had tried “to move Heaven & Earth” to make it happen and are “very confident we can deliver something really special for us all in 2022”.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid has revealed the name of her and Zayn Malik’s baby daughter is Khai. Rather than making a big announcement, Hadid quietly added “Khai’s mom” to her Instagram bio. The name is reportedly a tribute to her grandmother Khairiah.
Khai was born in September 2020, and the couple has been tentative about sharing photos and information about her. Zayn said in his birth announcement: "Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding."

Collins and ex-wife Orianne Cevey have been in spectacularly messy legal proceedings since their divorce in 2008. The Miami house, which Collins bought in 2015 and the pair were living in together, has been a point of contention.
The original divorce was the largest pay-out in UK celebrity history at £25m. Cevey told Collins in August 2020 that she was going on a business trip to Las Vegas, only to later admit via text she had gone to secretly marry businessman Thomas Bates. Cevey and Bates then refused to move out of the Miami mansion, and Phil sought to have them forcibly removed. She is still seeking a portion of the money from the sale.
Sir Billy Connolly gets the Covid-19 vaccine amid battle with Parkinson’s disease
Sir Billy Connolly's wife Pamela Stephenson confirmed this week that Connolly had received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2013 and officially retired from his extraordinary comedy career last year.
His wife tweeted, “Thank God… Billy had his first Covid vaccine today!” along with a photo of him with a mask on and a plaster on his arm. Many other Twitter users were excited at the news. One said: “National treasures should always be first in line for saving”.
