Katie Price decides to put her disabled son Harvey into care
This week, Katie Price opened up about her decision to send her son to a residential college for people with autism and learning disabilities to teach him to live more independently. She told The Sun, “It’s so upsetting to think I won’t see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively… This is his chance to live an independent life, learn skills and socialise with people other than me.”
Price has raised Harvey mostly as a single mother since he was born in 2002 as his father, footballer Dwight Yorke, refuses to see his son. Harvey is autistic, shows characteristics of Prader-Willi Syndrome and is partially blind.
Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have opened up about their secret relationship
Last week, the couple revealed they had been secretly dating since they met on the set of their upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling. Styles was staying at James Corden’s house in Palm Springs during the filming, where the couple spent time together.
An insider source said, “They clicked immediately – they’re both very artistic, passionate people and it was one of those things where straight away everyone could see they had a spark.” Wilde is ten years older than Styles, but friends say he is “extremely mature.” He is reportedly “very serious” about the relationship and has already met Wilde’s two children.
Richard Branson opened up about his mother’s death from Covid-19
Billionaire Richard Branson has paid tribute to his mother Eve, calling her an “extraordinary woman”. Branson announced his mother’s death, aged 96, on Twitter. His post said, “I’m sorry to share that, sadly like a lot of people’s mums and dads right now in these days of Covid, my mum Eve has also passed away.”
He gushed about her life on The One Show, crediting her with helping him to launch his company, Virgin, and named Virgin Galactic’s mothership Eve in her honour. He said “she was proud” of his achievements.
Holly Willoughby predicts Myleene Klass will win Dancing on Ice
Presenter of Dancing on Ice and This Morning, Holly Willoughby, has predicted that Myleene Klass will win this season of Dancing on Ice because of her background as a musician and performer.
She said, “I think she has musicality because obviously she is a musician. She is a performer anyway and I just – I think she is going to fall in love with it. That’s my little insider tip.” The show begins on 17th January on ITV.
The Pussycat Dolls are making a long-awaited 2021 comeback
Major noughties girl band The Pussycat Dolls are poised to sign a new management deal and release new music this year. An insider source revealed, “The pandemic has hampered plans for The Pussycat Dolls but as far as they are concerned, they’re all raring to get going as soon as it’s safe to do so.”
Nicole Scherzinger was rumoured to be releasing solo music this year, but the insider confirmed "all her focus is on The Pussycat Dolls at the moment," and the group are "determined to release some singles in 2021".
